Position Summary
The Professional Bank Driver is a punctual and professional team member who contributes to the operational efficiencies of Timberline Bank by providing safe and reliable transportation services for bank executives. The driver is responsible for providing additional services, including assisting in the loading and unloading of cargo, and general upkeep of the company vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have experience in driving with passengers. As a driver, you must exhibit interpersonal skills, while ensuring a comfortable, respectful, and reliable travel experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety and confidentiality.
This is an on-call position to support the bank’s operational needs. Hours may include early mornings or late evenings, with travel between Timberline Bank locations such as Grand Junction, Aspen, and Montrose, and additional locations as requested. The role averages around 24 hours per week, though actual hours may vary. Candidates must maintain a valid driver’s license, follow safety regulations, and complete required screenings and “fit for duty” certification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide safe, friendly, punctual, and knowledgeable transportation for bank employees, associates, in addition to various equipment, and bank property between Timberline Bank branch locations using a company-owned vehicle.
- Maintain compliance with all traffic laws and drive in accordance with road safety regulations at all times.
- Perform scheduled transfers, arrivals, and departures at designated locations.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and upkeep, including performing basic checks (brakes, tires, wipers, lights, fuel) and reporting mechanical issues.
- Routinely interact with passengers while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo.
- Maintain a clean and valid driver’s license, and comply with required drug screening, background check, and “fit for duty” medical clearance prior to employment.
- Adhere to company dress code standards.
- Be available for an average of 24 hours per week, with the possibility of additional evening and weekend shifts.
- Travel will occur between all Timberline Bank locations, including Grand Junction, Aspen, Montrose, and others as needed.
